Local delivery issues

If your order was shipped around Dec 7th, you may experience delivery delays if you are based in Dublin or a nearby county.

Although An Post has been very efficient this year, we have recently become aware that some customers in Dublin and nearby counties have been waiting for almost 2 weeks on their order.

We have reached out to An Post and received this standard message:

"We have had an increase in volumes across the country at the moment. Please bear with us at this time. We are working our best to try deliver all items as quickly as possible. "

We have also talked with other local business owners who are experiencing the same problem. The issue seems to affect mainly the Dublin area, with some parcels taking up to 10 working days to arrive. Normal delivery time is usually 1-3 days, so we deeply appreciate your patience knowing that some of the orders contain Christmas gifts. It is also possible that some depots are affected by Covid, and may operate on reduced hours or staff.

If you have been waiting for over 1 week on your order, and you're in Ireland, please reach out to us by replying to your order confirmation or email hello@literarylipbalms.com with your order number.

For the time being, all orders going out to Co. Dublin, Co. Meath, Co. Kildare and Co. Wicklow will be automatically upgraded to Registered Post with tracking. Thanks to those who have reported this issue to us; check back on this post for updates.
