Our samplers come in glassine blags, a transparent paper that is fully biodegradable/recyclable. A great way of sampling our soaps before committing to a full bar!

Shipping Times
It currently takes us 2-4 business days to get your order ready for shipping.
We cannot track packages sent with Standard Post. If it gets delayed we are unable to file it as lost until 30 days have passed. Please make sure you are aware of the shipping times before you order. We recommend upgrading to Priority/tracked shipping if you are in the UK or outside of Europe, or if you are ordering ahead of the holidays.

Customs & Duties outside EU
Since Literary Lip Balms is not currently required to be VAT-registered, we do not charge VAT on goods. However, you may still be charged additional duties or taxes on delivery if the value of your order is over a certain amount (£135 in UK). Please understand that we have no control over this; we are required by law to put the correct value on your package for customs.
If you are uncertain of the amount that you could be assessed, you might want to check on it and cancel the order if you think this could be a problem.

If you have an allergy to any of the listed ingredients, please refrain from using. Our products may contain sweet almond oil and should not be used if you are allergic to nuts. Please note that all products are manufactured in the same facilities. If you are unsure, please contact us.

Some people might find essential oils irritating. Please try a patch test before use; if irritation occurs, discontinue using.
We offer products free of essential oils, so check the ingredient list or contact us if you are looking for unscented products.
